It covers the number of animals used in animal research in the United States, and its percent change since 2015.
This change will impact our community vastly. Species of animals are frequently going extinct, and part of this issue is the death of animals due to animal testing. Many beauty companies involve the testing of animals on their products to ensure that it works properly. This is an unnecessary way of testing a product, and there are alternatives to this. The termination of this practice can lead to an increase in certain animal species.

These companies are so good for being cruelty free! I would 100% purchase products from them!
Fortunately, there is a growing number of brands that are cruelty free, and are vegan or offer vegan options for body wash and moisturiser.
Below I have listed information about 5 different brands. You probably already know Lush and The Body Shop, however, you may not know the other brands listed.
1. Lush

Lush is vegetarian and offers quite a lot of vegan options. Around 80% of their products are vegan. Animal ingredients they use include milk, honey, lanolin and eggs. They are against animal testing and only buy raw materials from companies that are not involved in the use of, or commission the use of, animals for testing.
Cruelty free certification: PETA
Products include: Shower gels, moisturisers/lotion, soaps, hand care
2. The Body Shop

The Body Shop is vegetarian and offers quite a lot of vegan options. Around 50% of their products are vegan. They are against animal testing and…

Animal testing is a big NO! Although it may benefit cosmetic and beauty companies and make their testing process easier, there are alternatives to this!
Please let me know what you think of animal testing, in general, for cosmetic reasons or medical reasons. Do you think that it is fair to the animals? Should we do something different? Keep it the same?

We need to make a change in the world to make animal testing end. Many makeup companies test on animals to make sure their products are the best. There are many alternatives to this, it is not necessary for them to test on animals. On “Peta” they stated several alternatives to animal testing that are cheaper than animal testing itself. “These alternatives to animal testing include sophisticated tests using human cells and tissues (also known as in vitro methods), advanced computer-modeling techniques (often referred to as in silico models), and studies with human volunteers. These and other non-animal methods are not hindered by species differences that make applying animal test results to humans difficult or impossible, and they usually take less time and money to complete.” https://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-experimentation/alternatives-animal-testing/
Animals shouldn’t be treated this way! We need to act fast and get rid of animal testing!
Controversial pesticide testing on dozens of beagles has ended at a Michigan animal testing lab following the release of a disturbing video that showed dogs being force-fed chemicals as part of a yearlong study. A beagle is seen in an image from an undercover video released by the Humane Society of the United States. The…

This article is a real look inside of this problem that seems to be flying under the radar in the U.S.!
This just shows the brutality and cruelty that these innocent animals have to go through.

” An animal test is any scientific experiment or test in which a live animal is forced undergo somenthing that is likely to cause them pain, suffering, distress or lasting harm “.
– cruelty free international
Life in the laboratory is a world away from the natural environment. Often housed in isolation,in bare, wire cages without sufficient space or environmental enrichment, rabbits are prone to loneliness and boredom. Their senses are also overloaded with constant, bright artificial lighting from which there is no escape, and incessant noise such as the clanging of metal cages. These can all cause these sensitive animals to become stressed, which in turn can weaken their immune system, making them prone to illness. They can also suffer sore and damaged feet from standing in metal caging, and even sel-multilate to relieve their anxiety. As estimated, 26 million animals are used every year in the united states for…
